Swans were in two groups, each making a nest of stones on the ice.
Teal have very clear white or creamy white stripe on closed wing. White on tail often conspicuous. Seem grey with darker head and pale breast.

Flock of about 50 jackdaws at back of Three Merry Lads.
Two sandpipers on Redmires.
