Finally got round to buying a new phone, after plodding along with my 3-year old cracked screen Motorola. It’s a Xiaomi MI A1, and I have to say it’s quite impressive! Dual SIM, dual lens, same size as iPhone 7, 64Gb memory. It’s an AndroidOne phone, so gets all Google’s updates (for 2 years). Not getting regular updates was one of the annoying things about the Moto (and most non-Google Android phones). It’s a lot larger than the Moto, but easy enough to handle. Well, I hope so: seems very difficult to find a tempered-glass screen protector that will fit snugly!
It will take an SD card, but what I didn’t realise was that it takes up one of the SIM slots… after I’d bought a second SIM… Still, 64Gb should keep me going for long enough – at least until the 2nd SIM contract ends and I can have a think. The camera’s not the best (poor in low light), but it seems more than good enough for taking pics on sunny day walks. Happy bunny.
